Deb Hoyt founded Healing Hearts With Horses (HHH) in 2000. She began HHH to give hope to children, and young adults, who suffer from abuse, neglect, abandonment issues, psychological damage, the diagnosis of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Reactive Attachment Disorder, Bipolar, and behavioral disorders such as ADD/ADHD.  Deb offers these youth Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) and Learning Lessons.  During an EAP session, clients are presented with several different activities that support self confidence, problem solving skills, and perseverance to overcome obstacles in their daily lives. Deb is a certified horse professional and accredited instructor of EAP through Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA).  She has been a foster parent, and worked with at risk youth, since 1990.                                                                                                                         

Learning Lessons include a therapeutic element as well.  Learning lessons are geared for foster, underprivileged, and adoptive youth. None of the children are denied this service due to lack of financial means. Learning lessons are also available to the general public for a nominal fee. 

All of the horses used in our programs are from Horse Heaven Equine Rescue, also organized by Deb Hoyt.
